The Mantis Study Group Home Page
Introduction
On the 18th of May 1996 the inaugural meeting of the Mantid Study Group was held at Dudley Zoo in the UK. Interested parties from all over Britain were present and the basic structure of the society was confirmed. The society will aim to facilitate communication between member enthusiasts, allowing better distribution of nymphs, ootheca and males where necessery as well as fostering the study of Mantids whenever possible.
Newsletter
It is aimed to produce 2 newsletters before christmas 1996, and 4 per year after that. Phil Bragg has taken on editing the newsletter and all material for the newsletter should be sent to him, preferable as a 'text only' file on a 3.5 inch PC compatable diskette to :-. Phil Bragg,

Membership
Membership will run from January the first each year.
The subscription for the year 1997 is £6.50 for people living in the U.K., £7.50 for Other European Countries and £9.00 for the Rest Of The World.
Please note that all membership dues should be paid in British cash or as a cheque drawn on an British bank, this is because of the outrageous bank charges which otherwise use up all the dues. We are looking into other ways of dealing with the problem.
Please make your remittance payable to the Mantis Study Group and send it, along with your name, address, phone number, list of species kept and desired to the Membership Secretary,
